Overview

Dedicated Ambulance Paramedic/EMT Team Position

We are seeking a EMT to staff a dedicated ambulance providing wait-and-return transportation services between Moore Regional Hospital (MRH) and the FirstHealth Cancer Center .

Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• 0500 to 1230
• No weekend assignments

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, and efficient wait-and-return transportation for patients traveling between MRH and the FirstHealth Cancer Center.
• Maintain readiness of the assigned ambulance and equipment.
• Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with EMS protocols and organizational standards.
• Ensure accurate documentation and effective communication with patients, hospital staff, and healthcare providers.

Additional Duties

• Assist with hospital discharge transports as operational needs require.
• Support interfacility transports on an occasional basis.
• Participate in routine vehicle and equipment inspections and other assigned EMS duties.

This position offers a consistent weekday schedule while providing an important service that supports patient access to cancer care and other healthcare transportation needs


Qualifications

Must have current NC EMT certification. Current valid NC drivers' license with good driving record. Must be at least 18 years of age to qualify for driving privileges.
