Job Description

Join a locally respected hauling company as a CDL Dump Truck Driver for the 2026 season. This position offers steady, local work with no overnight travel—drivers are home every night. The role focuses on operating well-maintained tri-axle dump trucks (8LL manual transmission) to transport gravel, rubble, millings, and landscape materials between pits and job sites. Unlike many similar positions, this job does not involve hauling hot asphalt, ensuring a cleaner and more straightforward work environment. The company values reliability, safety, and straightforward communication, providing a supportive atmosphere with consistent hours during the peak season and optional winter work for those interested.

Responsibilities

• Operate a tri-axle dump truck (8LL manual) to haul gravel, rubble, millings, and landscape materials locally
• Back into residential and commercial job sites, often in tight spaces
• Safely interact with on-site crews and heavy equipment
• Tarp and secure loads to ensure safe transport
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain a professional and reliable presence on the job

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class B license (Class A is a plus)
• Experience operating dump trucks, preferably tri-axle
• Proficient with 8LL manual transmissions
• Strong backing and maneuvering skills in confined areas
• Dependable and punctual work ethic

Compensation

$25–$35 per hour based on experience. Overtime available during peak season.
